Which Do You Prefer?

I'm in the final stages of my cookbook, finishing up some photos, giving it one last edit - and choosing a cover. I'd love your opinion on the latter. Which cover do you prefer? A or B? Or would you do something entirely different? Leave a comment to tell me!

  1. Personally, I like the first pic. The second one makes me think only of fall for some reason. Since it is a vegetable for every season, my vote is cover #1. :)

  2. Definitely A. The B cover is hard to read and the soup bowl doesn't conjure up images of veggies in my head, whereas the A cover is definitely about veggies.

  3. I agree with Anonymous. While B makes it look like it's potentially easy (soup = easy in some people's heads), it doesn't scream "I can do this all year long". A is more colorful, and, even though I'm not personally a fan of stuffed peppers, it looks inviting and yummy.

  4. Definitely A. Like the picture better and the title is much easier to read. Find the orange lettering on B hard to read. A practical book about vegetables needs pictures of vegetables on the cover!

  5. Agree that the title in B is difficult to read. A font color change would help. I like the photo in A very much, but not the dark, dismal green at the top. I know it's green like a vegetable, but it takes up almost half of the cover. I'd reduce the font size and expand the photo to fill more of the cover. Then try other background colors...possibly red with a black font? Sorry to be so picky, but produce covers myself and realize how important it is. You can always ignore me. Can't please everybody no matter how hard we try. ;-)

  6. Definitely A. It's much more colorful and enticing, and I had the same "fall/winter" as someone else to the soup. I, however, love the green -- the only problem with it is that your name is hard to read where it overlaps with the photo. Maybe you need to put a return in there to break your name into 2 lines?
