The pathology report from my surgery is back. There is a mix of good and bad news. Bad: It is cancer. Good: They removed all of it from my eyelid during the surgery. Bad: It will likely reoccur elsewhere on my body. Good: I did not need a skin graft!

Well, it is a relief to know that you will not need a skin graft for your eyelid! Do they know what type of cancer they removed? Sounds like a pretty good prognosis with the exception that it could come back at some later day and location. May God bless and protect.
ReplyDeleteIt was squamous cell carcinoma...fast growing, so I'm extra thankful the doctor was able to remove it all. Merry Christmas!
